We are on a mission to bring hand crafted, additive free, wholesome bread to the towns of Norfolk. From our bakery in Horsham St Faiths, we produce bread and viennoiserie daily for weekly markets, cafes, delis, hotels and our very own bricks and mortar shop in the centre of Aylsham.
Natural yeast and long fermentation are at the
heart of everything we create. Every loaf is shaped by hand, risen slowly and baked on the stone sole of our oven. You will find dense, chewy, whole-wheat Sourdoughs laying alongside the traditional light crust of the British tin loaf and French Baguette.
Our 'Bread Source' Mill, is a beautifully crafted Austrian Stone Mill in which we Mill Norfolk grown wheat and barley for flour to use in our bakery and to sell for use at home. We can tell you the exact location of the field the grain is grown in and even the Farmers name who grew it for you!! We are working with local farmers to bring back a range of older varieties which were grown in Norfolk 100's of years ago.
Bread Source is available for events through out the year with our large portable Wood fired oven and can cater for events and food festivals.
